Parachute DEI Campaigns

Proud board member of the Womens/LGBTQ ERG at Parachute. Participate and collaborate with different team members from different departments on how we can internally and externally support and contribute to engage in topics we care about. We all collectively  brainstorm ideas and work together to ensure we are being supportive and inclusive across the organization.

Degendering Design

Collaborated with Daniel Powell (Furniture Designer), Brooks E. Scott (Executive Coach and DEI Expert) and the DEI board members on discussing the topic of Degendering Design. We sat down and recorded different topics that should be considered and how important inclusivity in designing can impact ourselves as a company, people and the planet.

Campfire Chats

Worked with Women's/LGBTQ DEI board members on bridging the gap between store associates and hq associates. We collaborated on a strategy to have authentic, casual conversation on topics or careers that store associates would like to learn more about.  

Trans Lifeline

Partnered with Trans Lifeline and the Parachute Women's/LGBTQ DEI board members on celebrating and supporting pride. For pride we developed a campaign for our site and stores to support to the trans community by sending postcards of positivity and encouragement to the trans community. We worked together to create an inclusive site and store experience to support and connect the trans community.
